DESTINY MAKERS:THE BRIDGE BETWEEN DREAMS AND REALITY.

INTRODUCTION.

As we grow older, we are all driven by one main desire to make it in life. Whether that means becoming successful, finding happiness, or simply surviving and living comfortably, we all try to carve out a path for ourselves. This journey often begins with what we know  education, talent, or the environment we grow up in. However, not everyone is exposed to the same opportunities. Some people have access to quality education, mentors, supportive families, and resources. Others struggle silently in areas where none of these are available.

In the midst of this unequal start, one thing remains common dreams. Every individual has a dream. It may be big or small, wild or realistic, simple or complex. But here comes the hard question:

How do we turn our dreams into reality? For many people, this remains a lifetime question. You might be doing all you know how to, but nothing seems to work. That’s where a destiny maker comes in.

Journey to your true purpose.

Who Is a Destiny Maker?

A destiny maker is someone or something that helps turn your potential into a purpose. They act as a bridge that connects your dream to its fulfillment. They don’t necessarily do the work for you, but they help you unlock the door that seemed permanently shut. They come in different forms  a mentor, a teacher, a divine helper, a friend, a platform, or even a life-changing opportunity.

You may have all the passion in the world, all the drive, and even some skill — but without that one person or opportunity that aligns everything, you may find yourself stuck in the same place for years.

The Importance of Destiny Makers.

Let’s face it, life isn’t always fair. There are highly talented people in slums whose voices may never be heard. There are intelligent students whose dreams are cut short because of school fees. There are business-minded individuals who never get funding or exposure. The truth is, talent and hard work are not always enough.

This is why we should pray for destiny makers in our lives. They may be the one person who introduces you to the right connection, the boss who believes in your raw talent, or the organization that picks you for a scholarship. These people or moments do not just bring help  they shift your entire direction.

Whyy Many People Struggle Without Them?

You may be doing everything "right." You wake up early, go to work or school, push through hardships, and still nothing seems to change. Why? Because effort without access can feel like running on a treadmill. You're burning energy, but not moving forward.

That’s why it’s painful and, honestly, unfair when we see people struggling in careers or paths they were never meant to pursue, just because they never met a destiny maker. Imagine someone trying so hard to become a doctor, yet their true calling was in music — something they never got a chance to explore. Or someone doing casual jobs with an engineering mind simply because no one gave them a chance.

How to Recognize a Destiny Maker?

Not everyone who enters your life is a destiny maker, and that’s okay. Destiny makers usually come with purpose. Here are a few signs:

They believe in you even when you don’t.

They open doors that were previously closed to you.

They challenge you to grow and step out of your comfort zone.

They support you without expecting anything in return.

They see what you can become, not just who you are.

Destiny makers don’t always come in flashy ways. Sometimes, it’s that teacher who refuses to let you give up. Other times, it’s a friend who pushes you to apply for an opportunity. Or it could be a stranger who sees potential in you and offers help without strings attached.

How to Position Yourself for Destiny Helpers?

1. Be Prepared :You never know when your moment will come, so always be ready. If you're a singer, have your demo. If you're a writer, have your samples. If you're a student, stay sharp.

2. Stay Humble :Destiny makers are more willing to help people who are respectful and humble.

3. Keep Showing Up :Opportunities often find people who are consistent.

4. Build Relationships: Networking can be a powerful tool. Sometimes your destiny maker is just one connection away.

5. Pray and Stay Positive:Believe that God or life will bring you the right people. Faith can guide you to unexpected blessings and destiny makers, let’s not forget that we can also be that person to someone else. You don’t have to be rich or powerful to change someone’s life. You just need to be willing. If you see talent, support it.

CONCLUSION.

If you have knowledge, share it.  If you have connections, connect others.

If you have influence, use it for good.

In this generation, where so many youth are struggling with hopelessness, being someone else’s bridge can be the greatest gift you give the world.

Your Dream Still Matters.

Even if you feel like time is moving too fast, and everyone else is moving ahead, remember your dream is still valid. With the right help, a little grace, and faith, things can turn around in one moment. Destiny makers are not fairy tales  they are real. They walk among us. Sometimes, we meet them when we least expect it.

So don’t stop dreaming. Don’t stop trying. And don’t stop believing that something better is on the way. Keep working, keep learning, and keep praying, no one truly makes it alone. Behind every great story is someone who gave another person a chance, believed in them, or simply stood by them when no one else would. These are destiny makers. They remind us that sometimes, all we need is just one person who sees our light before the rest of the world does.

So, as you chase your dreams, ask yourself who has helped shape your path so far? And more importantly, whose destiny can you help shape today?

RAILA ODINGA:THE MAN WHO NEVER SAT DOWN.

CAMPUS CEO:HOW A UNIVERSITY STUDENT CAN BUILD A BUSINESS VISION FROM ZERO.
